Interviews — PICTURE BOOK

We had great fun picking the picture books for the December box. Santa’s Eleven Months Off is a delightful rhyming book by Mike Reiss from New York. Each double page spread shows Santa’s crazy adventures throughout the year.

I was so excited to use Madeline Finn and the Library Dog by Lisa Papp as our featured hardcover in this box. I saw the book for the first time at the Western Book Reps Association Book Fair in June 2016 and immediately fell in love. It was exactly the type of book I was looking for, for our boxes.

This box included two books as well as a couple of fun items. Our hardcover choice was There’s a Bear on My Chair by author/illustrator Ross Collins from Glasgow, Scotland. The Kirkus Review described this book as “silly, laugh-out loud fun” and we couldn’t agree more.
