Please be aware that current shipping costs by Canada Post and couriers is extremely expensive. Most orders cost us more than $12.99 and we are currently covering the extra. Month-to-month subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel by the last day of the month for the following month’s box. 3 or 6 month subscriptions expire at the end of their term and cannot be cancelled early for a refund. If you cancel before the subscription expires, the cancellation will apply to the next renewal. An email will be sent to you a few days before renewal to remind you that your credit card will be charged on the first of the month. If you don’t want your plan to renew automatically, click the link in your email to access your account to make appropriate changes. You can also access your account from the "person" icon at the top right corner our website (next to the shopping cart). If you have difficulties getting into your account, please email us as soon as possible and we will put the cancellation through for you. Just remember, you must cancel by the last day of the month of your current term.

Shipping in Canada is very expensive. We charge $12.99 for shipping per month/box. We will cover the shipping charges over $12.99. If the shipping charge to your address is over $20, we reserve the right to use a Canada Post prepaid box. We will however, specially wrap the order before putting it in the prepaid box.

The board books are best for babies and young toddlers, however you may want to start your child early on their picture book collection. If they are ready to move on from picture books but not yet ready for novels, then try our Early Reader Box. It’s perfect for children who are learning to read or are ready for a longer story. The Canadian retail price of the books will usually exceed the price of the box. We purchase books from Canadian publishers and their distributors in Canadian dollars. Occasionally you will find something special in your box like an exclusive letter from an author and or illustrator. Our Christmas box (the November box) usually has something extra special!

We are no longer using the orange shredded paper to pack our boxes. There is currently a paper shortage and the shredded paper has doubled in price. We now use biodegradable peanuts that are starch based and decompose in water, soil and compost leaving no toxic waste. Just throw them in your sink/shower and run water over them, put them in your compost or right in your garden. They use less energy to produce and are a more environmentally friendly option. And for kids, they can use the peanuts to create logs for a great building project! Just wet the ends of the peanuts and stick them together.
