We have two fun and silly picture books this month that will make a great addition to your bookself.
You Can Read by Helaine Becker from Toronto, Ontario and illustrated by Mark Hoffmann from New England. This book is an imaginative tribute to reading and all the places you can read. For instance, “You can read in Tuktoyaktuk or in the south of France, You can read in your party clothes or in your underpants!”
WHAT’S IN THE BOX: FEBRUARY 2017 PICTURE
This month we were thrilled to feature two hardcovers in the Picture Book Box. Both these very talented author/illustrators are from Australia.
The Fabulous Friend Machine by Nick Bland. A charming story about a very friendly chicken named Popcorn. She insists on greeting all the animals every morning on the farm and does her best to brighten everyone’s day.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX: JANUARY 2017 PICTURE
A new year and two beautiful pictures books to start us off.
Imagine a City by Elise Hurst. Originally published in Australia in 2014, this amazing book has finally made its way to North America. We are new to Elise’s incredible work but will forever be fans.
