WHAT'S IN THE BOX: SEPTEMBER 2016 BABY
This box included three lovely board books.
We are huge fans of author/illustrator Catherine Rayner from Edinburgh, Scotland. We first met adorable Abigail the giraffe in a picture book in 2013. Now in board book, Counting Stars is perfect for a younger audience. Abigail loves nothing better than counting. She tries to count Ladybug’s spots and Zebra’s stripes, but they won’t stand still. What’s a giraffe to do?
Beach Baby by Laurie Elmquist, is a lullaby of memories of a baby’s day at the beach. Purple starfish, seals, moon snails and sandpipers are all there to greet the baby when he wakes. Elly MacKay’s charming and soothing images are created by using layers of paper, light and photography.
Peek-a-Choo-Choo! by Nina Laden is the fourth book in this delightful series. Help baby predict what mode of transportation is coming next with the classic game of peek-a-boo. Nina wrote and illustrated one of our favourite picture books, The Night I Followed the Dog.
